A yesterday. I'm looking for information on the ProSource 125-Pound Heavy Duty Garage Utility Canoe and Kayak Storage Lift, so i would like to bring a story to tell.

A yesterday. I search for information on the Attwood Corporation Kayak Hoist Storage System, so i would like to describe here.


bought this lift system for my boat 3° and mounted on the ceiling of my garage. because the joists in my garage running perpendicular to the direction I need to mount the winch, I installed 2 x 6 cleats with screws to the joists (each cleat spans and is secured to the joists 3 to be safe), then bolted the hoist 2 cleats x 6. the installation is pretty straight forward. I would give it 5 stars, except the diagram for routing of the wire rope hoist is rather lacking
